On Saturday the 17th of June 2017 I was in Buena Vista, Colorado bright and early to shoot finish line pictures of a really long bike race called Ride the Rockies. It was really hot and shade was far and few but I learned my lesson while shooting the Santa Fe Century a month before. I wore lots of UPF protective clothing, drank 4 liters of water and wore 75 sunblock!
